We work in NC, SC, and VA.. So we get around...lol...I grew up on the coast, in the small community of Marshallberg, near Morehead City. I have always loved the hills and I think it's in my blood. My great-great grandfather came from "Buck Shoals" which is somewhere up your way. (at least I think it is) but I can't find out exactly where. If you know, Please tell me His last name was George. So that is a round about answer as to how I found your beautiful slice of heaven.

Hiwassee Dam High School Prom 2009
I had the opportunity to take pics of Nathan and Valerie a few weeks ago. Hiwassee Dam High School had their prom at The Ballroom in Murphy, NC. I've uploaded a few pics of them. Take a look at them if you get a chance. I hope they had as good a time at the prom as I did taking their pictures! Btw, in case anyone's interested, The Ballroom is a great place in Murphy to hold events, parties, etc. They do a great job with catering also!

We had a great time over the weekend!
I just want to say thanks to everyone who showed up for the Easter Portrait Special over the weekend. I had the best time photographing some beautiful children. They loved the live bunnies. Here are a few of the pictures from this weekend.
Thanks to Heather Posey Rice for allowing us to use "Rumors" as a makeshift studio. This is her little boy, AJ. I think he might be in the running for GQ Magazine one of these days.
