The Vietnam Memorial Moving Wall has been in Murphy the past 4 days. Although I've seen the Vietnam Memorial in DC, my son and I went to the wall on Friday afternoon. I was very impressed with the professionalism, respect, and patriotism of the whole event. My son asked me what the wall was for and I managed to tell him it's meaning, while holding back tears. Managed to get to the Fall Festival this year! So glad we got there at 10:00...there was a lot of traffic already! Wouldn't be surprised if JCC Folk School had a record breaking attendance this year! We left at 12:30 and the line of cars waiting to get in was LLLLLOOOOOONNNNNNGGGGGGG. Anyways, great stuff this year!
