This is farther down the trail after leaving the boardwalk shown in Photo 8.

It's an easy walk that goes past the Cherokee County Health Department and around the curve where it joins the paved section of Phase 1, which takes you along the river all the way to Konehete Park.

If you're up for a longer walk, you could walk from the start of the paved trail all the way to the new parking lot and back.

Those who don't want to go that far could drop one vehicle off at the parking lot and drive together to Konohete Park. Then you could walk to the parking lot and drive back to the other car.

Either way, it's a nice walk and I commend everyone who has put in all the work to make it available to us.
