Good morning, Ron.

I can't believe I have something to say about UFOs, again! This is more than I've thought about them in years, but I thought you might be interested to know that the UK government just released some government files on UFOs, including some on the Rendlesham Forest sightings, which still remain unexplained.

As usual, there is a mixed bag of reports, from people who seem to be nuts to government and military officials who take these issues and incidents more seriously.

I don't have time to download and read all the reports they released today, but thought you might be interested.

This news article was posted in the UK National Archives today: UFO files: attempted abductions and scrambled fighter jets

You can download the files in PDF format (for free for a month) at: Newly released UFO files from the UK government

Now, I'm turning my attention back to working on websites, blogs, forums, and all the other things I love doing.

All the best,

JD

Good morning, Ron.

As I've said, I don't pay much attention to "lights in the sky" stories. The only reason I posted this was because I (mistakenly) thought it was an article in a Charlotte newspaper and that it involved someone seeing a black triangle. If I'd realized that it was not, I would not have linked to it.

Last night, for instance, I was outside looking at the stars and saw a bright light jumping around. I was sure that it was moving. Then, when I braced my hand against the wall, it stopped moving. Just the little motions of my head and body were fooling me. I've noticed this time and again.

Maybe it's just someone wanting a little publicity or notoriety. I don't know.

That's one of the problems with dealing with the unknown. There are no real standards against which we can make comparisons and determine facts. Everything is stories, suppositions, and opinions.

Still, I find it interesting. (grin)

All the best,

JD

John, I read the triangle article as well as the unedited one on Mufon's site. IMO, it read like it was scripted. The man's word's did not sound like someone just making conversation or stating facts; more like he wrote it down then read it. And this was NOT his first sighting. I, for one, do not believe his story. His girlfriend offered no input either. I would say this is either misinformation or disinformation. Regardless, thanks for the article and link to examiner.com.

Amazing 3D Photo of the Universe

This will make most of us feel humble. 13+ billion years vs a human life span of appx 75 or 89 years. Watch and enjoy!

Good morning, Ron.

I went to the link and that looks like something I'd like to see, but I'll have to go somewhere with broadband to view it.

As far as using the link tool (fifth from left at the top of the edit box -- it's supposed to look like three links in a chain), what you do is write the text that you want to see when the link is active, then highlight it, click the link icon, and paste the URL in the box that pops up.

So, if I want the text to be:

The Most Amazing Photo of the Universe, Now In 3D

I just paste it in and follow the steps outlined above. When you finish, it should be an active link that opens in a new window or tab, depending upon your browser settings.

The Most Amazing Photo of the Universe, Now In 3D

It's really easy once you "get the hang of it."

All the best,

JD

I should correct my previous comment. After looking at the site again, it is not the Charlotte Examiner (which I thought was a newspaper) it is Examiner.com, which apparently has pages for different cities. Sorry for the mixup..

I just saw a link on Twitter to a story in the Charlotte Examiner: Multiple witnesses watch black triangle UFO low over Medfield, MA.

The title of the story is misleading, because, if you read the unedited report, the witnesses explicitly state that they never saw the shape of the object they believed was housing the lights they saw.

I'm not very impressed with stories of lights in the sky unless a definite shape can be seen, but this report is congruent with multiple sightings all over the world of low, silent, slow-flying black triangular UFOs.

Just thought I'd pass it along to anyone who may be interested.

All the best,

JD
