If you have a business in Murphy, NC, I heartily recommend joining MerchantCircle.com and promoting your business there, and here.
If you go to Merchant Circle's directory for Murphy, NC 28906, you may find that your business is already listed. If so, you can claim that listing and edit it to suit yourself. If your business is not listed, it's relatively easy to add it.
They add lots of tools that help you market your business, including the ability to create a blog and newsletter, post coupons, rank and review other businesses, and post to the bulletin board.
Merchant Circle listings rank highly on Google and other search engines, just as this online community for Murphy will rank highly as we get more participation here.
You want to be found first on Google, or at least close to first, don't you?
